The funeral for Jonn Ww Averill, commander of H B Crandall post G A R, was held at Barns Congregational Church at 10 oclock. A large group of comrades, Ladies of the G I A, Sons and Daughters of Veterans attended. Goodspeed officiated, songs were rendered, and an American flag bearing ceremony honored the veteran. Relatives, friends, and members from Hardwick and Barre attended the service and interment followed.
