H W Meyer of Los Angeles arrived for an extended visit with friends and relatives in Baraboo Prairie du Sac Sauk City and vicinity. He once lived here and had not visited in 23 years. He runs a power plant in Los Angeles and is a brother of E J Meyer who lived in Baraboo Sumpter before moving to California last fall.
Edna Bray was surprised at her home on Second street by friends. The evening included games and music with Lucile Archer Muriel Metcalf Rowland Archer Lou Metcalf Carl Marquette Howard Monroe Julius Doerr Charlotte Schroeder Monetta Weirich Floyd Van Vleet Donald Ostoff Rollie Schneller and Eleanor La Valle present for refreshments.

J S Palmer of Baraboo nets sweepstakes on fruit. E D Ochsner of Prairie du Sac and A L Kleeber of Reedsburg claim honey prizes. A D Brown of IXL fruit farm and William Fox win ribbons on grapes. Sauk county shows strong prize success with multiple winners.
Mr and Mrs F W Beidatsch have moved from Richmond Virginia to Milwaukee. They previously resided in Baraboo.
Louis Longrie of Plymouth and Miss Anna Hinzi of North Freedom announced as a marriage pairing. J P Bernhard to Miss Ela Diehl both of Troy noted in the public muniments.
Mrs Guy Farwell picked a pint of ripe strawberries today noting the fruit was as fine as those grown in June. The item highlights local garden harvest quality and oral garden pride.
