Suitor of Senator Culberson's Daughter Faces Kidnapping Charge

Alec E Robertson, a British war veteran and former University of Texas student, alleges John E Ellis and two accomplices kidnapped him in Newark New Jersey to force him to flee the United States over a love affair with Miss Mary Culberson, 21, daughter of Senator Charles A Culberson. Robertson, living with an aunt in Bloomfield New Jersey, claims Ellis worked for a detective agency and the case involves a Washington finishing school for Miss Culberson.

New $20,000 School Building Approved at North Freedom

North Freedom voters approved a $20,000 school building on Thursday night by a 121 to 59 vote. The meeting began at the present school and moved to the M. W. A. hall to accommodate the crowd.
