Autos Collide Twice on Main Street in Reedsburg

Cahoon Mine Closes Down for Present
The Cahoon iron mine south of Baraboo has closed for the present. Over 100 men have been employed and will be paid at the Reinking block office. No ore has been shipped for some time and the stack covers all ground. The mine may resume after ore is shipped and there is a dumping place. It opened years ago and has been a valuable asset to Baraboo. If operations do not resume, workers will seek employment in other mines away from Baraboo.
