E E Moyse, brother of William Moyse of Baraboo, earned both first prizes for strawberries at the Tampa State Fair. His fresh picked exhibits from the Montana Farm near Plant City impressed judges and visitors. Sarasota took second prize while Moyse shipped sixty four quarts of Missionary berries to Tallahassee for state agent demonstrations.

Local Pioneer Edward Buelow Dies at 86 in Reedsburg
Mr and Mrs E L Reynolds attended the funeral for Edward Buelow in Reedsburg. The Civil War veteran died after a lingering illness at age 86. He established himself among early Reedsburg settlers and is survived by four sons George Waupun Thomas Frank and Will and two daughters Mrs Frank Davenougue and Mrs Tessie Everett.

Funeral services for John Graham a Portage druggist and ex mayor were held Wednesday under Masonic auspices. Born Edinburgh Scotland April 14 1838 he was among Wisconsin oldest druggists and ran a Portage store for 63 years. City businesses closed for the ceremony.

The funeral for John Weirich was held at 1:30 PM at his home with Rev. E P Hall officiating. G A R members led the service with P P Palmer as commander and James Dibble as chaplain. Burial followed at Yan Kee Street Cemetery in Sumpter with Rev Phillip Snyder directing. Relatives from Augusta Prairie du Lac Sumpter Baraboo attended, including Michael Weirich and Mrs Herrell, with most of the Weirich children present except Mrs Fred Steuber.

Milwaukee Doctor Improves After Appendectomy
William W. Stackhouse underwent an operation at a Milwaukee hospital for appendicitis last night. Mrs. Stackhouse received notice he was ill during a run and was taken to the hospital. she left on the afternoon train. Reports this morning say his condition is quite encouraging.
