The golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs. August Geschke at 1721 La Salle street Racine was honored with a service at the Evangelical Lutheran church on High street. About 80 relatives and friends attended a supper and midnight luncheon at the Beyer home. The couple, married in Germany January 17 1870, moved to the United States in 1900, first living in Baraboo and later settling in Racine. They have ten children 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
