Old Soldier Elias Shadduck Dies After Pneumonia
Elias Shadduck died at his home on Tuesday February 8 at age 70 after a brief pneumonia illness. He enlisted at Plainville in 1864 in the 19th regiment, was wounded, and taken prisoner. Oshkosh to House Armory for National Guard Units
Funds are being raised to build a $50,000 armory in Oshkosh to house Companies B and F of the Wisconsin National Guard and the supply company of the Second Regiment. The supply company, previously at Green Bay, will move to Oshkosh after the armory project is carried out, with Fond du Lac also contending for it. Adjutant General Holway approved moving the company to Oshkosh.

Black Earth man killed in logging accident
Martin A. Lee of Black Earth died instantly yesterday when a load of wood overturned on him near the town. He suffered a blow to the temple from a heavy stick and his right arm was broken in two places. The accident occurred about one and a half miles from town.

Greenfield Woman Dies at 92 in Home of Son

Woman Bitten by Vicious Horse Receives Wound Care
