C. N. Thompson died at his Saratosa home on January 4 after a long career in circuses and sideshows. Born December 15, 1856 in Marseilles Illinois, he served as claim agent and manager for many great shows including Sells Brothers Forepaugh Hagenbeck and Ringling Brothers. He was 61 and survived by his wife a son in the navy a daughter and a brother. interment in Sarasota.
