Narrow Escape From Fatal Shock At Electric Plant
Arthur J Parsley narrowly escaped electrocution at the electric plant when wet gloves failed and a live wire arced through his body. Ralph Pritchard, at the top of a pole, cut the wires to save him after Parsley hung suspended by 2200 volts. Parsley revived after about twenty minutes and went home with burned thumbs and sore muscles.

Child Dies After Auto Accident Near Prairie du Lac
The two year old son of Mr and Mrs Oscar Disrud of Perry died Tuesday from a skull fracture after being struck by a car during a family trip to the power dam at Prairie du Lac. The child never regained consciousness and was returned home for burial.
