Carroll College Glee Club arrived with President W O Carrier and twenty four members for a Thursday concert. The event included a banquet, a full church, encores for each number, and strong performances by the male and string quartets. Proceeds totaled about 35 dollars for the outing fund.
The fini report compiled by H. W. Rood of Madison is on the press and will run about 700 pages. It includes the governor’s formal report and a concise campaign and siege story of Vicksburg with detailed accounts of each Wisconsin regiment and battery.
Lang 36 years old and unmarried, employed by General Electric, was instantly killed at Prairie du Lac while setting up machinery for Southern Wisconsin Power. He fell 20 feet from a ladder while working on a motor and struck his head on a cement door. He had released the motor after a shock but fell backward. The body was shipped to Minneapolis for burial.

Adolph Neld received one year in state prison at Waupun after a Madison judge E Ray Stevens verdict. The case followed an earlier arrest tied to an escapade with young girls, then paroled, with new evidence prompting state board of control action. Neld has been ill at Sauk City and has not been driving the stage.
