County Fair notes and town items
The county fair is judged a success with improving organization and promising permanency despite attractions and attendance being below a peak. Reports cover awards, a ten year fair grounds lease, and President’s practical address. Other items note a serious accident to Tron R. G. Camp, changes to the Milwaukee and Minnesota Hallrand timetable, sidewalk improvements, singing classes at the Brick Church, Y M A I Society meeting, syrup sample from Joel G. Cowles, weather and grading work in the streets, and travel observations in the villages.

County Cabinet Proposal Echoes Sauk County Curio Drive
Jefferson era letter from Lewis N. Woon discusses forming a county cabinet to collect mineral specimens Indian relics and curiosities for public education. He urges local guardians to accept donations and keep records, praising the State Historical Society and urging organized county support at annual gatherings. The Wisconsin Farmer notice and local market chatter follow.
