Beedle Nominated For Insurance Commissioner In Madison
Madison confirms Beedle as the Republican nominee for insurance commissioner by 48 votes over Abbott amid county miscounts. Sauk county figures from Franklin show 10 votes for Beedle, 13 for Gilbert, none for Abbott, with a likely clerical error swapping Abbott for Gilbert. Abbott could demand a recount to possibly recover those 13 votes.
