Bandera Native Ronald Rugh Honored by Soil Conservation Service
Bandera native Ronald Rugh, District Conservationist for the Soil Conservation Service in Mason, received a Certificate of Merit from Area Conservationist Rayburn Nash for outstanding service. The Mason County SWCD applauded his staff for technical assistance in soil water and plant conservation planning and application. Rugh, with 10 years at SCS, previously worked in San Antonio Eden and Ballinger before assuming the Mason post in 1971. he and his wife Carolyn and sons Randy and Bryan live in Mason. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ashley Rugh of Bandera.

Funeral Services for James R. Terry Held in Kerrville
James Rodney Terry 26 of Kerrville died at his home Saturday evening from accidental carbon monoxide poisoning. A rosary was recited Tuesday at Plummer Funeral Chapel and a funeral mass was held Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Msgr. B J. Hubertus officiating. He was interred in the Catholic Cemetery. He was born February 4, 1948 in Waco and is survived by his parents, a sister in Dallas, and grandparents. A Navy veteran, he worked for Texas Products in Kerrville.

Mrs Lucille Ellen Lucas age 52 died Friday January 10 1975 in a San Antonio hospital after 30 days of treatment. Born April 15 1922 in Chicago she was a Church of Christ member. Funeral service Monday January 13 1975 at 10 a.m. at Pipe Creek Cemetery with Minister Martin Smith presiding. Survivors include three daughters four sons a brother and fourteen grandchildren.
