Gilbert Reynolds Hay aged 76 of Bandera died February 18 1969 at Kerrville State Hospital after a two month illness. He was born February 2 1898 in Bandera son of Frank T Hay and Della Gibbons Hay and a World War I veteran. Survivors include five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held February 19 at Plummer Funeral Home with Rev J Manley Reynolds officiating and interment in Bandera Cemetery.

Tarpley Rancher Traps Two Bobcats for Goats
L. E. Monier, Tarpley area rancher, trapped two large bobcats Monday using Trapper Cliff Parker’s gear. The cats had been killing goats on his and neighboring ranches for months. Heart of the Hill Taxidermy of Kerrville bought the two cats for mounting.
