The court sets speed limits on Ridge Route Road from its end to Highway 689 at 80 mph, on Montague Drive Bandera Estates from Ridge Route to the hill crest at 20 mph, and on Medina Lake Road from Highway 689 to pavement end at 45 mph. Signs will make the changes effective. The court acts for public safety, not to inconvenience anyone.

Community Savings And Loan Ass'n Enters 35th Year
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Washington D C issued a charter on December 11 1934 authorizing a Federal Savings and Loan Association within 50 miles of Fredericksburg. The new entity began in Fred Mathisen’s insurance office on East Main and Llano Streets with two part time staff and 4200 dollars in assets. Dorothy Adamietz Fund Seeks Help for World Deaf Games
Citizens urged to donate to send two athletes to the World Deaf Games in Yugoslavia this August. Texie Smith Dies During Bandera Visit At U Bar Ranch
Mrs. Texie Smith of Grand Prairie, a Bennie's U-Bar Ranch guest, died Sunday in Bandera reportedly of heart failure. Justice of the Peace Ed Jennings ruled the death accidental. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist Church in Grand Prairie. she is survived by her husband Frank and a son. Born September 18, 1911 in Wylie Texas.
