The Gas Products Company drilled a 940 foot gas well in 14 days at Baker Dome amid a rising field with 18 commercial wells and no dry holes. Gas showed at 940 feet on the west and 840 feet on the east, with a stronger flow at 1480 feet in Hitch No 1. plans to reach the second sands were altered.
