In Sharpsburg Maryland 1800 Civil War enthusiasts join the Hamlin family of Alliance Ohio to relive the Antietam battle. Lt Col Tom W Hamlin portrays a Union general during the Bloody Lane assault with his son and daughter also taking part. The family unit carries three cannons tents and muskets to a 130 acre bivouac with participants from Wisconsin Massachusetts and Alabama.
