John son, Buffalo, N D, was fined 25 dollars and costs after pleading guilty in Cass County court to hauling a load of sheep from Felton, Minnesota into North Dakota without a health certificate. Officials said the animals lacked proper documentation.

WRC Starts Fund to Build Entrance

The Women's Relief Corps began a fund drive to construct a new hall entrance after a treasurer’s report showed sufficient funds to cover roofing and labor, keeping the group debt free. Jean Joyce Crowned Queen at Grand Meadow Homecoming

Miss Jean Joyce was crowned Queen of the Larks during Grand Meadow high school homecoming events on Thursday. Glen Warn, football captain, crowned her on Main Street. attendants included Miss Jean Jacobson and Miss Janis Gunderson, with crown bearer John Joyce. The coronation preceded a bonfire and a Friday parade with floats from each class.

Teen Town Plans Halloween Party
