Spring Valley Soldier Dies In Auto Crash Near Canton
A Spring Valley man, Sgt. Vernon Calhoun, 20, died at St. Marys hospital in Quincy after a car driven by Pvt. Ken Brooks, 22, nosed into a levee near Canton Missouri at 2 a.m. Both airmen were en route to their Craig field station after Thanksgiving.
