Jail Prisoner Kills Self in County Jail Cell
Madison Nov 25 William Wilkie a prisoner in the county jail killed himself by slitting his throat with a broken rusty jackknife sharpened on an iron barn. He sat on his cot over a wash basin and died by his own action. He lived on a rented farm ten miles southwest of the city with a widow three sons and two daughters. The eldest son William Wilkie Jr resides in Minneapolis.

One Dead and One Dying in Gas Suffocation
In Galesville Wisconsin during Thanksgiving two Gale College students, Christian Bienegan aged sixteen is dead and Claus Skunberg aged eighteen is believed dying from coal gas suffocation at the grandparents home.
