Explosion Kills Four at Parlin Lab Site
Four men were blown to pieces in an afternoon blast at the International Smoke less Powder and Chemical company laboratory in Parlin New Jersey. The deceased were John Pierce Frank Spratford John Applegate and J W Redpath the laboratory superintendent. The cause of the explosion will never be known as only the four men were inside the building when it occurred. The laboratory caught fire and burned leaving the scene sequestered from other structures.
