Truce Reached Between Aurora Housewives and Coop

In Aurora Minnesota the housewives led by Mrs Russell Monson reached a truce with the Aurora cooperative supermarket after a three day picket over high food prices. Fifteen workers were laid off when the coop closed. The two sides agreed to reconvene later to discuss prices while the women will continue picketing National Food Store markets in Virginia.

Slain Diane Olkwitz Found in Wisconsin Plant

The body of Diane Olkwitz aged 20 was found Thursday stabbed 106 times in an industrial plant in suburban Menomonee Falls Wisconsin where she worked as a receptionist. It follows two other fatal stabbings in the Milwaukee area in two months including a 19 year old woman and a 10 year old girl.
