A flash flood dumped up to five inches of rain over turtle creek area washing out the east end of a bridge in Moscow Township four miles northwest of Austin. The 20 by 15 foot washout left abutments intact as 30 minutes of downpour flooded streets and overran storm sewers. Officials planned a meeting today to discuss repairs with the Freeborn County engineer.
