State GOP Nominates 2 Party Leaders
Mrs. H. A. Johnson of St. Paul and W. Earl Williams were nominated Tuesday night to lead Minnesota's Republican party replacing resigning leaders. The 18 district chairmen sent the nominations to the State GOP Central Committee for approval March 22 in Minneapolis. Williams, Fergus Falls attorney and ninth district chair, is a World War II Air Force veteran with 35 missions and a 1949 University of Minnesota law graduate. Johnson has served as vice chairwoman since 1955 and as a national convention delegate.
