Tawney to seek 50000 for Austin and Rochester buildings
Congressman Tawney introduced a public buildings appropriation bill Friday proposing 50000 for Austin and 50000 for Rochester. He had promised last fall to secure a 40000 to 50000 building for Austin, and placing the amount in the bill signals his effort to deliver. Austin, growing fast, would need adequate facilities for future growth and Tawney’s knowledge of the city supports the request.
