The Chicago Great Western Railway offers round trip excursion tickets to Charleston South Carolina for the National Educational Association meeting July 3 to 18 1900. Special to the Herald reports Van Sant of Winona was nominated for governor at the Republican estate convention held at Sc. P.u today. Capt. 8. BR.

Owatonna was represented in Austin today by P Willet and M Ryan of Caladonia conducted business in the county seat. The Ladies of the G A R plan a monument to Civil War veterans with encouragement from Hrraup who wishes them success.
