Miss Nancy Betsinger daughter of Mr and Mrs Lester Betsinger and Emery H Eckert son of Mrs Ethelyn Beker wed at Queen of Angels Church with Rev La Vera Trocinski officiating. The bride wore Chantilly lace over nylon net and tafleta with a cathedra train, pearl crystal crown and veil, carrying red roses and pink carnations. The couple will reside in Marquette Michigan after a reception at the Cedar Valley Conservation Club. he is stationed at Sawyer Air Force Base.

About 123 women golfers from the Country Club Greenlea Albert Lea Como Columbia Minneapolis Lanesboro Northwood Rochester Spring Valley Blooming Prairie and Miami Oklo clubs joined the Ramsey Club Women for their annual out-of-town event. Mrs Harlan Olson of Como shot 44 to claim medalist honors. Ramsey's Miss Margo Anderson won the championship flight with 85, followed by Mrs Olson and Mrs Howard Ashcraft of Greenlea.
