Methodist Church board hosted a Tuesday open house honoring Rev. and Mrs. Clare Karsten and family as they prepare to move to Minneapolis where the minister will serve at First Methodist on the U of M campus. About 130 guests attended with Vera Pace as hostess and guest book by Mrs. Harvard Barr.
Miss Barbara Stilwell was honored at a Saturday evening shower at the Harold Butler residence. Hostesses were Miss Sandra Mc Michael Miss Judith Quain and Miss Sarah Butler. Trinity Church Women Os trander will handle July activities at the home. Tinted slippers offer brides a summer cocktail dress match.
The Women’s Relief Corps met Saturday at Mrs. Elmer Morine’s LeRoy home with guests Mrs. John Schultz and Mrs. Starr. They planned a picnic at Wildwood Park on July 17 and draped the flag in memory of Mrs. Edna Armstrong as a resolutions committee was formed.
