Revenue sharing bill eyed for county funds
The House passed a revenue sharing bill that would give Mower County communities $501,789 annually. It retrofits to January 1 1972, allowing full funding this year, but Senate action and possible mid year delivery could cut this to half. The bill would total $5.3 billion nationally with $1 billion to states and $3.5 billion to local governments.
