Engagement and forthcoming marriage of Janyce Faye Jaeger of Wahpeton to Roger Holland of St. Louis announced by her mother Mrs Alfred Jaeger Mooreton North Dakota. Janyce is a Wahpeton High School graduate with a BA from Concordia College and two years teaching at Zion Lutheran School Matteson Illinois. Roger Holland is a Concordia alumnus and BA holder from Concordia Senior College Fort Wayne and is studying at Concordia Seminary St. Louis. The ceremony is set for 2 p.m. June 25 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Wahpeton.
Miss Barbara Kay Graves daughter of Mr and Mrs Harry Graves Brownsdale married Laurence H Anderson son of Mr and Mrs Raymond Hose Austin Rt 1 at First Baptist Church Brownsdale. The ceremony was at 2 pm with Larry MacVey as soloist. The couple will live at 205 4th Ave NE Austin after a Colorado honeymoon. The bride a Hayfield High School graduate works for Gamble Robinson Co. The groom a Austin High School graduate works for IBM Rochester. Attendants included Janet Grovdahl Mary Pick Gary Pick and ushers David Kitzman Eugene Wageman Roger Collidge. Receptions followed in the church parlors.
Mr and Mrs Walter Wiese announce the engagement of their daughter June Ann to W John Nierengarten II son of Mr and Mrs William Nierengarten. The couple plan to marry July 16 at St Augustine Catholic Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lager vall travel to Dearborn Michigan to visit their son-in-law and daughter Mr and Mrs Stanley Melton and Mr and Mrs Allen Crosby. They entertained Sunday for the baptism of Christopher Charles Crosby son of Mr and Mrs Charles Crosby at St Olaf Lutheran Church. Out of town guests included Mr and Mrs Robert Victor and family Brownsdale.
Miss MaDonna Bumgarner and Gerard Lambert were married at St Edwards Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Saturday. The bride, daughter of Mr and Mrs Lyle Bumgarner of 1107 1st Ave NW, wore a floor length gown of rochelle lace and silk crepe with a lace train. The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Josaphat Lambert of Quebec, Canada. Reverend Surprenent officiated with Richard Berg as soloist and Larry Lund at the organ. The couple's Bible bouquet included Sweetheart roses and white carnations.
Betty Joyce Gilde and Darrel Haven White wed in Grace American Lutheran Church with Rev. Vogel officiating. The bride wore wedding satin with lace, carried a testament, and was given in marriage by her father. Bride attendants included Carolyn Gilde and Goskesen sisters, with a reception in the church hall. After a Navy-connected life and a trip to Quebec they will reside in Alameda California.

Jennings officiated with Monica Biederman organist and Pacelli Sisters Choir singing. The couple plans to live in Minneapolis after a Black Hills honeymoon.
Miss Marlys Burdine daughter of Mr and Mrs Lester Burdine of 2305 10th Ave SW became the bride of Wayne Rossow son of Mr and Mrs Gordon Rossow Rt 3 Faribault Minn at First Methodist Church with Rev William Law officiating Delbert Laman as soloist. The couple will reside at 105 3rd St NW after a Wisconsin Dells trip.
A bridal shower for Beverly Schroeder was held at the IOOF Hall with corsages for Miss Schroeder and her relatives. Prizes were awarded in games to Mrs. Alice Laskewitz and Mrs. Mary Lou Schroeder, with Randy Laskewitz winning the door prize. The bride-to-be will marry Thomas A. Haas on July 9 at Crane Community Chapel.
Mrs. Fossey led a program at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Women meeting in Lyle with Mrs Nolan Wold delivering an address on Marriage. Rev Merland Johnson and Mrs Dale Bersend contributed. a $5 library fund gift was made and notes for a future booth and convention travel were discussed.
