Twin 13th birthdays unite in long awaited reunion
Gayland Huber and Lois Diane Hanson turned 13 on Friday the 13th, celebrating with cake after meeting for the first time since birth. Their mothers, Mrs Ralph Huber and Mrs A Rotwell Hanson, were in the hospital room together at St Olaf when the babies were born, starting a friendship carried by correspondence until the reunion at Mrs Hanson’s farm ten miles north of Austin. Lois remained quiet about the day while Gayland recalled a prior Friday the 13th birthday with an arm injury but said it brings good luck and gifts.
