Auto turns over. Califonian killed, Philadelphian hurt in England

In Banbury England a car crash at Edge Hill killed Mr. Johnson of California and fatally injured Mr. Blake of Philadelphia. Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Blake suffered grave injuries with precarious conditions. The group had left Oxford for Stratford on Avon when the car overturned on Folge Hill a known accident spot.

Three Slavic Miners Fatally Burned in Mine Boardinghouse Explosion

Six Slavic miners were severely burned at Greenwich mine No. 2 near Barnesboro, Johnstown Pa. Three died from blasts in a lightless room. They had been burning squibs for amusement when an open can of blasting powder ignited.
