Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church Women honored a list of honorary members during a Thursday meeting near Lyle. Rev. Stanley Klemesrud led devotions, with a Grandma Moses film, a vocal solo by Andrew Hanson, organ selections, and a prayer service. Hostesses included Mrs. Carleton Hanson and others.
Carol Konrad daughter of Raymond and Mrs Konrad of Carpenter Iowa wed Glenn Nelson son of Harold and Mrs Nelson of St Paul. The ceremony was Saturday in Otranto Iowa with Gwenn Hammel as soloist and Marlin Johnson on piano. Attendants included Mrs Dennis Ingvaldson and Gary Modlean. They plan to reside in St Paul after a short honeymoon and will both work there.
Miss Susan Johnson daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward A Johnson 1206 10th St NW was honored at a dinner party given by Mrs Matthew Adams Austin Rt 2 Monday at the Oak Leaf Corsages were given to the honoree and her mother ahead of her marriage to Robert Radloff set for Saturday Guests then visited the home of Mrs Evelyn Fellows 305 16th St NW for additional festivities
