Awards for handicap play were presented on ladies day at Ramsey Golf Club. For 18 hole play Class A winners included L W Torke and Clayton Barnett among others while Class B and C honored multiple participants. Nine hole winners were listed including Steven Duren and Lynette Jarvis.

Wisconsin football players face trial in motorcycle theft
In Madison Wisconsin two University of Wisconsin freshmen football players Michael Mauger 19 from Massillon Ohio and Dennis Clark 18 from Green Bay were ordered to stand trial in Dane County Circuit Court on charges of stealing three motorcycles.

Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Zimmerman of 1104 8th St. NE spent a week fishing at Pelican Lake near Ashby Minnesota and attended the 1922 Wartburg College class reunion in Waverly Iowa. From Waverly they visited their daughter Mrs. Richard Chaffee in Decorah and took a Mississippi boat trip. The King family reunion was held Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Keller at 1502 2nd Ave SW with about thirty relatives from Jackson Walton Brownsdale Austin.
