Longest Bryan Demonstration Tops Democratic Convention

Denver July 9 The Democratic national convention drew exclamations not for policy but for a record breaking Bryan demonstration. The afternoon session heard a 1 hour 19 minute tribute to Bryan, with 12 000 in attendance, and six party standards rooted in place. The night session saw tense credentials debate over the Pennsylvania delegation led by Colonel Guffey, ending in a majority adoption and a disputed roll call tally of 1002 votes.
