Two Minnesota Men Die In One Vehicle Crash Near Ree Heights

A one vehicle crash three miles west of Ree Heights on U S 14 killed two Minnesota men. Dary M K Jackson 35 of Fridley and Curtis P Dooley 26 of Anoka died at the scene. The 1975 South Dakota traffic toll rose to two, a level not matched by the same date last year.

Driverless car crashes into Donaldson's store in St Paul

A driverless car rammed the front door of Donaldson's department store in downtown St Paul on New Year’s Eve after a fight with another motorist. Police say Paul B. Griffin, 19, of Minneapolis, was pulled from his car. Griffin claimed he had set the gear in park before the collision.

Heller predicts Ford tax cut plan

Former CEA chair Dr. Walter Heller says President Ford will propose an income tax cut early this year. He favors a 15 to 20 billion dollar reduction aimed at workers and lower income groups with a corporate investment credit. He believes such a cut would boost purchasing power and help justify wage restraint around eight percent.

Pine City youth killed in New Year snowmobile accident

A 10-year-old boy, Robert Clemenson of Pine City, was killed when a snowmobile struck a cable at the Pine County Fairgrounds on New Year's Day. His brother Rick, 11, sustained head injuries and was hospitalized in Rush City. It marked Minnesota's seventh winter snowmobile fatality.

Trial Postponed in Clark Double Murder Case

The second murder trial of Edward R. Clark, 36, of Ferndale Michigan, has been postponed from next Monday to early March, court sources said today.
