A disaster at a starch mill in Waukgan Illinois leaves several dead and many injured. The wreck causes property damage estimated near a quarter of a million dollars. Firefighters battled the blaze as authorities investigated the cause.
An explosion wrecked the Warner Sugar Refining mill in Waukegan Illinois last night. Three men are confirmed dead with reports of up to twenty five possible. The brick four story structure valued at 250000 was destroyed and debris cleanup will take weeks.
