Vancouver B C Feb 24 The steamer Pak Shank which struck a rock near Nanaimo while returning from Alaska was floated at high tide and is believed to have suffered no serious damage.
No news has been received of the French liner La Champagne which was due in New York from Havre on Sunday morning, prompting shipping officials to monitor the vessel’s status.
Frances E. Willard's body arrived from New York to Chicago then to Willard hall at the W C T U temple where thousands filed by to view the temperance leader. The remains were then taken to Evanston for interment at Rose Hill cemetery.
