Farmer Hit Killed Walking on Tracks in Mentor
Arthur Nelson, 50, a farmer from near Mentor, was struck and fatally injured by a Great Northern passenger train early today. Engineer Henry Henrickson of Grand Forks, North Dakota, said he saw Nelson walking between the tracks and could not stop in time. Nelson died at Erskine after being placed aboard the train. the coroner called the death accidental.
