Taft Seeks repeal of Minnesota treaty liquor provisions

Man Admits Killing Kramer Farmer in North Dakota
William Abbetson confessed to murdering F. W. Schroeder a Kramer County farmer last Saturday. The body was found in Mouse River marsh on Wednesday. Abbetson said he battered Schroeder in the barn with a club and axe and shot him, then moved the body to the marsh. Father and Son Fatally Electrocuted Fixing Wire
In Lake City Minnesota on February 18 Peter Gludt a 55 year old businessman and his 20 year old son Elmer were electrocuted when an electric wire broke and tangled with telephone lines near their home. Elmer a lineman attempted to repair the lines and was killed. Peter rushed to aid and also died. The mother survived and detached the bodies.

IWW Mob Forces Portland Group Off Train in Ashland
About 170 Industrial Workers of the World men traveling from Portland and other northern cities to Fresno were ordered off a Southern Pacific freight by railroad officials and local police in Ashland Oregon. More than 150 remained in Ashland, with some continuing south on foot.
