Poise Idaho February 17. H D Spaulding a prominent mine superintendent was killed when a snowslide struck the cabin where he and his Chinese cook were sheltered. The slide carried the building 200 feet down the mountainside and crushed both occupants to death.

In Cleveland a grand public display is planned with Civil War veterans and Fifth Regiment guards. body remains in Chamber of Commerce auditorium before burial at Lakeview cemetery. Estimated Hanna estate put at 7 to 8 million dollars.
