Senators Fear War in Indochina

City Employe Hurt in Cave-In at Sewage Plant

City worker Stanley Pyburn of 1101 Mitchell was injured when a six foot ditch caved in at the sewage treatment plant during pipe installation. He was pinned by 300 to 400 pounds of frozen earth, admitted to St Olaf Hospital with a possible hip fracture, condition listed as fair.

Dr. James L. Morrill president of the University of Minnesota is in Miller Hospital recovering from a minor operation performed Tuesday. A university spokesman said the surgery was successful and he is expected back in his office in two weeks.
