Wholesale prices rise in November

Wholesale prices rose 0.7 percent in November led by food costs and farm products with beef, dairy, sugar and vegetables driving gains. Industrial commodities edged up 0.4 percent while lumber fell for the first time since May, and fuels and power rose 1.1 percent. The index stands at 197.3 on the 1967 base.
