Bridgeport, Aug 5. A tire burst during a racing trip on the Westport turnpike near Southport post office killed Peter Henderer and injured William Mallory, chauffeur for Percy Bryant of Southport, as Bryant’s car raced another auto. The crash hurled the vehicle into a trolley pole.
