Seaville April 5. By agreement of counsel the indictment against Charles F. Munday Wali E F Siegley and Archie Shaels charging conspiracy to defraud the United States in Alaska coal land locations was quashed by Judge Hanford and the defendants discharged. An appeal was taken to the supreme court. D Townsend for the government said the ruling leaves one ground for prosecution namely entries for the Pacifi Coal and Oil company a foreign corporation. If this were the only land case pending he would proceed but many indictments and great interests are involved and the government wants a record for supreme court review to settle the questions.

Three Killed in Explosion Near McIntosh
An explosion of a Mallet freight engine on the Milwaukee line east of McIntosh, three miles from Aberdeen, killed Fireman Wright of Mobridge and Frack Rollins of Pittsburgh and another man fatally burned.
