Fire destroys Grand Meadow home. family left homeless
A fire four miles southeast of Grand Meadow Minnesota gutted the upstairs of a two story farm home on the Lloyd Gross farm. Melvin Rieken and his wife and four children, James 9 Marilyn 8 Kevin 6 Allen 4, are staying with relatives. Fire started in an upstairs closet and was under control within an hour. No damage estimate yet.
