Miss Jo Kathryn Beuershausen and Leroy Otto Schuelke married in the Evangelical Church of Lockhart in a September 6, 1949 ceremony. The couple, both Lockhart High School graduates, will reside in Lockhart after a West Texas wedding trip.
Miss Phyllis Ann Chura married Robert Edward McKee in a candlelit ceremony at the Presbyterian Seminary Chapel. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Chura, is a UT Austin senior. the groom, son of Robert McKee of Killeen, earned a BBA from UT and served in the South Pacific. The couple's reception followed at the bride’s parents’ home with local and out of town guests.
Miss Vivian Gordon and Thomas B Sam Jones united in a single ring ceremony August 6 at First Baptist Church with Rev. O F Dingler officiating. The bride is daughter of W G Gordon of San Antonio and works for E M Scarborough and Sons. The groom is son of Mr and Mrs C B Jones of Holland Texas, a Temple Junior College and Southwestern University alumnus, now a state welfare field worker in Georgetown. Maid of honor Grace Chunn. best man Charles Newton Bingham. The couple honeymooned in Colorado.
