A crystal shower at 801 West Avenue hosted by Mrs. Evelyne Lipsitz drew about 35 guests with crystal gifts and green white decor. A later gift tea at Adams Street Tea House in Brownwood hosted by Mrs. Jimmie Chester Avinger and Miss Jimmy Louise Avinger drew about 75 guests with yellow white flowers and pottery gifts.
