Berserkman Injures Two On Freight Train Rampage

In Portland Oregon a berserk brakeman Kenneth Hopkins 35 attacked engineer Brent Campbell and fireman Ben Mackenlac aboard a Southern Pacific 70 car freight near Salem. Hopkins lit fusees wielded a hammer and forced the throttle open before being subdued. He died in Salem hospital.
