Assault Case Filed Against Officers in Second Suit This Month
The second damage suit this month against Policeman Warren Jones and Chief R. D. Thorp was filed by F. G. Cain in 53rd District Court seeking 18000 dollars. Cain alleges an October 7 beating caused multiple fractures and permanent injury, reducing earning power by 25 percent. He was arrested for disturbing the peace that day and pled guilty October 9.
